Overview
At Trinitas, we develop and automate turnkey inverter reliability testing systems designed for three-phase inverter architectures — commonly used in EV, energy storage, and industrial drive applications.
Our systems validate long-term performance under electrical, thermal, and communication stress conditions, providing engineers the insight needed to improve durability and design efficiency.
Key Features:
-
Support for 6-phase and 12-phase inverter configurations
-
Thermal and electrical stress testing with precise environmental control
-
Long-duration power cycling under programmable load profiles
-
Communication verification between inverter controller and host software
-
Real-time monitoring of voltage, current, and temperature parameters
-
Data logging and automatic test reporting with complete traceability
System Architecture
-
High Voltage (HV) Power Supply Provides DC bus voltage to the inverter under test. Voltage and current parameters are fully programmable and logged.
-
Low Voltage (LV) Power Supply Powers the inverter control logic, gate drivers, and auxiliary circuits.
-
Device Under Test (Inverter) Supports Dual 3-Phase or Quad 3-Phase inverter configurations. Inverters interface with load circuits and thermal conditioning systems. Safety interlocks and monitoring integrated via digital and analog IO.
Safety & Monitoring
-
Emergency stop circuits and HV interlocks ensure safe operation.
-
System continuously monitors voltage, current, and temperature limits.
-
Automatic shutdown in case of parameter violation or hardware fault
Environmental Control
-
Thermal Chamber with integrated Chiller for temperature cycling tests.
-
Enables endurance testing under extreme temperature and load conditions.
Communication & Control Interface
-
National Instruments communication hardware enables high-speed data exchange between the inverter and LabVIEW-based control software.
-
CAN / Ethernet / RS-485 interfaces supported for command, telemetry, and diagnostic data transfer.
-
Real-time control commands, fault injection, and parameter logging handled through NI hardware modules.
