Mechanical Subsystems

Test Automation & Management

Mesaurement & Loading circuit

  • Force / Moment Sensing: High-accuracy load cells  with inline signal conditioning.

  • Displacement & Angle: Linear encoders/LVDTs and rotary encoders for deflection, angle, and travel.

  • Power & Current: Precision current/voltage sensing to characterize ECU-driven loads (motors, heaters, valves, fans).

  • ECU Load Simulation: Custom electronic load boards emulate DC motors, H-bridge loads, resistive heaters, PWM fans, and sensor inputs (e.g., potentiometers/Hall, NTCs, occupancy mats). Safe squib dummy loads and monitoring for airbag circuit simulation (no live deployment).

  • Signal Integrity: Shielded cabling, proper grounding, and filter design for clean measurements.

Data Logging & Reporting

  • Centralized SQL Database Storage : Automatically logs all test data and events in secure SQL database for long-term traceability.

  • Individual Seat test Traceability : Tracks each test by serial number or barcode for compliance and quality control.
